Alpine Backcountry Rental
Our comprehensive backcountry rental is now based in our lodge in Tomamu. We recommend you pre-order your rental via our dedicated rental site. With the largest range in Hokkaido, however, you will not miss out and we can set up your requests at short notice on arrival in our dedicated ski workshop, on-site in our lodge.

Pattern Based Touring. Alpine Backcountry Lodge is situated on the edge of Tomamu, bordering the wilderness of the Hidaka range to our south. You can enjoy a leisurely ski tour amongst the beautiful Silver Birch and Larch forests from the front door of the lodge. We have a full range of 75mm pattern based touring skis for just this purpose, with a wide size range of 75mm boots.
